A profile of All Creatures Rescue Ethos Society’s Jacqueline Mewis.

I must admit it is quite a sight when I visit, her own eight dogs , all fourth generation Labradoodles, which she breeds, mingle gently with doggy boarders, sharing their home and toys without a thought. Even more amazing is watching her rescued cats wander in and among the dogs as they play in her small but quaint home , nestled among the spruce trees. Oh, I forgot the chickens! They are her pride and joy, each has a name and she knows each personality and quirk . Rarely does a conversation go by that does not include the chickens, who not only are friends, but that offer their eggs for the home- made dog biscuits so amply named Georgia’s’ Gourmet Goodies named after her gorgeous Labradoodle Georgia of course!
