A bit sad

The National Post interviews Nicolas Philibert on his Hot Docs contribution.

Q How did you feel seeing Nénette?
A  In general, we never feel very good when we visit a zoo because it’s always a bit sad to see animals living in concrete grounds and not in nature. Today maybe it’s even worse for these animals in nature because they are being exterminated in Borneo. In 15 years, there won’t be orangutans anymore. It’s a crazy situation. In the zoos, they are in a way protected. It’s the paradox of that situation.
