Overrun

SPCA remove about a hundred cats from overwhelmed owners who requested help.

The SPCA was called in to assist after police attended the home to check on the well-being of the occupants and discovered the two-storey house overrun with felines.

Staff feared the worst at first, but entered the home to find dozens of purring, well-fed and well-cared-for animals, Kuchma said.

“While the numbers were overwhelming, there was a sigh of relief,” she said. “We’re not dealing with sickly cats. They love these animals.”
