These things

London woman hopes to be allowed to keep her chickens.

Gerow, a paraplegic since a collision seven years ago, says the chickens are pets that give her “a sense of purpose” she wouldn’t otherwise have.

At least one ETC member who rejected Orser’s original motion is open to considering a “therapeutic” exemption.

“If she can get some kind of thing from her doctor that says (she needs them) why not?” Controller Bud Polhill said. “If there is some therapeutic benefit to these things, I’m willing to look at it.”
