Not right

Former chair of London Humane Society board is worried about new direction.

“Things are not right at the Humane Society board table. The (humane society) has as a long tradition as a community organization, and this will end if these bylaws are passed. The millions of dollars of LHS assets, and the fate of the animals, will be in the hands of (six) current directors, none with animal welfare knowledge or expertise, chosen for their fundraising, legal or administrative skills. They will be able to write their own rules, name their own successors, and have no requirement to listen to members,” Van Daele wrote.
