Flip flop

Orillia councillors end up voting for $20,000 TNVR program.

Coun. Paul Spears is one of the councillors who changed his mind and supported the program.

“I didn’t really think there was a cat problem in Orillia,” he said, but noted he received a number of calls from residents who were concerned. “They were very passionate about this and believe there is a problem.

“My big problem was (spending) $20,000 on cats,” he I still think $20,000 is a heck of a lot of money.”
