OSPCA’s search is finished; next move to be decided in court on Tuesday.

The OSPCA has asked to maintain control over the care of the animals inside the shelter until an application to have the Office of the Public Guardian and Trustee to take over the finances and administration of the charity can be heard.

Affidavits submitted with the application allege that the THS has lost its accreditation as a veterinary facility and that its bills are so past due that Toronto Hydro has said it will cut power to the shelter when the OSPCA leaves.
