Making room

Moose Jaw Humane Society has limited space.

Kristyn McEwen of the humane society said the shelter has almost reached its limit and as much as it does not like euthanizing its animals, there comes a point were the shelter has no choice.“I think people have somehow got the idea that we are a no kill shelter, which is not true. We try to be a low kill shelter but there still comes a time where we have to euthanize for space.

“We try very hard not to do that, however sometimes we have no other choice.”
