I want to make the lives of animals in Canada better. I don’t know how. I don’t even know, in any detail, what their lives are like right now. I’m going to try paying attention to the way we talk about them publicly, and I hope that in doing so I will learn what their lives are like, and how to talk about their lives. And how to make their lives better.
